What We Do

We take learning very seriously. Supervised by experienced BCBA, we put our expertise to work across different settings. We are keen to collaborate with families, schools and other services, to form a close- knit learning environment.

Language is valuable! Our programs teach learners how language can be useful to them, and also be the foundation of meaningful conversations.

We find a better way for learners to express themselves. We work on managing the inappropriate behaviors that may occur when learners do not know how to express themselves. By decreasing behaviors that affect learning, we develop learner’s abilities to learn in school settings and the natural environment.

Above all, let’s have some fun. Working with learners’ very own interests and strengths, playfulness is a great motivator! Flexible and appropriate use of language can be taught through games and meaningful interactions too.

What to expect from ASCEND?

We customize our programs with age-appropriate targets and skills, which are practical to serve each learner’s circumstances. If you have any concerns, please let us know how we can help.


Initial Consultation

Once you’ve taken an interest in our services, you can schedule an appointment with us. This is the time for us to get to know your child and his/her abilities. Our BCBA Clinical Supervisor will also be there to consult with any questions you may have.

Setting up therapist team

After getting to know your child, we will recommend therapists who are the best fit for your child’s needs and interests. We also take into consideration the therapists’ experience.

Setting goals and individualised program

Based on our supervisor’s observation, we will set goals for your child and make suggestions on the frequency of sessions. This lays the foundation to the Individualized Education Program (IEP) for your child. Once the IEP is ready, it will be shared and discussed with you, to ensure that we are on the same page.

Therapy sessions

This is where the fun begins! We provide engaging sessions, both home-based and centre-based. During which, therapists will collect data based on your child’s performance, and keep track of his/her progress.

Keeping goals in check

Monthly, our supervisors will observe the sessions in-person to ensure your child is making progress and to make adjustments when needed. They will supervise therapists and design the Individualized Education Program tailored to your child’s learning needs.

Supervision and support

Regularly, a meeting will be set up with you to report on progress and updates made on the program. As your child improves, the program will continue to expand and develop. Making sure your child is thriving and growing.
